Description: Flexible Hoses configured with Quick Connect Couplers for interfacing with larger equipment (pumps, 4.5 kW steam generator, Demand Water heater, pumps) or to another breadboard backplane. Available with either Male-Male, Male-Female, or Female-Female coupler pairs as necessary to complete the interface. A number of hoses were configured using a Male coupler and a 1/2" copper "hook" for drain connections. Some hoses were created using high temperature automotive type hose made from Norprene, some created using a reinforced PVC Suction and Delivery hose, and some created using vinyl-lined Stainless Steel washing machine connection hoses.

Size: 3/4" I.D. nominal for heater hoses and 5/8" I.D. nominal for washing machine connector hoses. All hoses were approximately 60 - 72 inches in length.

Cost: Costs vary depending on configuration. An approximate cost is $25.00 per hose assembly. Norprene hoses were generally more expensive (approx. $34.50 each), while the washing machine hose configurations cost approximately $22.00.
