Description: 1/2 inch insulated copper jumper to connect between adjacent backplane circuits. The jumper is equipped with a thermometer well for monitoring of temperature using any temperature probe (Thermocouple or RTD) or immersion thermometer (Omega 3/4" x 2-1/2" Threaded Thermowell). Although the well is emersed in the working fluid, the temperature sensing device not come in direct contact with the working fluid. This is typical of most industrial temperature sensing wells since maintanence of the sensing device does not compromise a sealed system. This device significantly increases the effective time constant of the temperature sensor, but is the only method to reliably acquire temperature data using a standard thermometer.

Size: 1/2 inch O.D. nominal copper tubing with connections spaced 5 inches center to center. A 2-1/2" segment of 3/4" copper tubing is used for the threaded Thermowell connection. Wrapped in 1/2" thick polycell foam insulation.
