HISTORY

The University of Texas at Tyler chapter of American Society of Mechanical Engineers has been in full swing since the Fall of 2001. We started with only a few hardworking and dedicated students. Currently, we have one win and one third place in the Old Guard Poster Competition, and placed fourth twice in the oral competition. We have also won the Mystery Design Competition at Regional Student Conferences twice since the chapter was formed.
