The purpose for this competition is to see if students can design, build, and operate a remotely controlled device (either Radio Controlled or via tether) which can navigate an obsticle course and collect rocks; theoretically from the mMartian surface. The obsticles are nominally 4x4 wooden posts and there are numerous constraints and requirements.
